7am
I'm sad its the last P-day... thanks for the pics and i'll make sure to look in the tree.

Phil wrote me the other day and told me how the fam was doing. I wrote him back that night. Fun hearing from him! I got your package yesterday and yes i will be sending things home.  Im scared about fitting everything in and being under 50 pounds.
I didnt get to host yesterday and District Leader is a busy job so i didn't have any time to watch for Abby, but i will watch for her in the lunch room.
We're are supposed to find out our reassignments today!! im excited i'll make sure to email you again today.

i played a trick on the district the other day,, since i pick up the mail, im always the one to give them news... so i told everyone our Visa's came. And it came to pass that there was much rejoicing for about 10 min. and then i said just kidding. and it did come to pass that i being the DL of 40-A was shunned from the presence of the Lords people until such time that they again did want their mail... Hahaha it was great!!

Also we found the plates of the MTC and have been writing in them in the way that the scriptures are written about our dealings with the elderes y hermanas de Israel...
okay write ya later, i think my clothes are almost done...

Later...6pm
Andy called home. We got a 5 minute chat with him...but really it was more like 3 minutes (I feel jipped) :-)
Andy has been reassigned to Charleston, West Virginia mission for 6 weeks. If his Visa isn't here in 6 weeks, he may be there longer. That mission takes in some of Virginia and Kentucky. It's pretty big area. He leaves Tuesday morning. He is allowed to call us from the airport, so we should be able to talk to him again Tuesday (very early) in the morning.  Once he gets settled in WV, I'll let you know where he is and how to write him, if you would like to.

He sounded so great on the phone. It is obvious he loved his time in the MTC. It is amazing what a mission does for our kids. Oh we did ask how he felt he was doing with the language. HE said really well. He is teaching 40 minute lessons completely in Spanish and feels good about it. THe problem with WV is that it is 95% english speaking...so we will be praying for opportunitys to use his Spanish while there.

Hola,
Como Estan? El CCM es muy bien. El tiempo pasa muy rapido aqui.
En Verdad, yo tengo ir uno semana. We met with the consulate yesterday and all the paperwork is in he just has to finalize the Visa's and send them back here from California probably a 2 or 3 weeks so i anticipate a reassignment almost for sure. Anyways have you heard any news on the violin in SLC?
So here's what’s going on here, Elder Chance Boekweg (Note- Chance was the student body President at Stansbury High &and he played soccer with Andy) didn't get his Visa to Peru so he is in the MTC here and in my Zone... so we're family now. His room is right next to mine in the Dorms. I should probably get to be Host next week for Abby so I’ll see if I see her (note- Abby is on our Ward). I played the MTC's cello the other day for fun but i don’t think i will play in a devotional…. to busy with DL (District Leader). As DL i have to go to meetings sometimes but mostly im just trying to keep the peace in the district, which is especially hard with my district... Yesterday i put on an orange sticker that signifies you're a new missionary and i got about 34 welcomes and then confused them by speaking to them in Spanish, it was great and i had the old guy directing all the real new missionaries laughing!! I might be able to Skype you guys before i leave sometime, not sure yet. also is my Patriarchal blessing on the way?
I’m excited for el templo hoy! i'll email you later today hopefully and maybe send a few pics..
Hasta Luego - Elder Stewart

Hey,
The temple was great today, we did a session and had breakfast. I'm glad Braydon is jazzed.. the MTC is awesome! Make sure to let them know for me that the MTC is not a place to learn a language or even become masters of the gospel but the most important thing is to learn how to invite and listen to the spirit in daily life and so that you can bring the spirit into real lessons with investigators. The spirit is the teacher not the missionary and that’s the main purpose that we go to the MTC for. with that being said i have taught probably 20 lessons now and maybe an 1/8 of them i would say yes the spirit was there...so don't be discouraged when it’s not, this is the place to learn and try new things so that when we get out into the field we are better prepared to teach. Also give both Braydon and Eric that scripture sheet you made for me it’s awesome!! I finally found the penny after we were done with the temple and i took a pic. Hasta luego

Hola here are a few pics from this week,, one is of "Martes de bonitas corbatas" (beautiful tie Tuesday). Elder Machen has 34 ties so we all wore his huge ugly ties. I'm looking forward to the temple in a couple of hours. Spanish is coming along iv'e had a few dreams in spanish though i don't remember what happened... not sure if thats a good thing or not. haha sorry i forgot to change the camera settings so you'll have to crop them.
Later that day: The temple session was great! its a beautiful day down here and the temple is blossoming in flowers! As we came out we talked to a family that ran up to us that was here from California to go to conference this weekend. it was our first taste of being out in the field :) Gracias for the easter package it was Awsome! and yes i got the music. Grandma did also send me an Easter package that was Muy Bien!

ok so here are some answers to your Q's and Questions of my own.
1) I am the new District Leader for the Remaining 3 weeks at the MTC
2) I can't have you bring my violin right now they don't have the storage space at the moment.
3) Thats crazy about Isaac Morleys Violin situation.
4) Everyone at the moment is on campus housing ...though i have it on good authority that they are already in the pocess of building another MTC just down the road and it will be a completly seperate MTC except for The MTC president (Nally's) will be over that one as well.

Thanks for the letters and the Tie Tac is Awesome!  My P-day is Thursday, not Friday.  We did a session at the temple and it was Awesome!  We got a few pics, but I wasn't able to get to a computer to load them.  Can you send Violin Music, the peices we played in Sacrament meeting  "Come Thou Fount/Rock of Ages", The violin Duet 'I Need Thee Every Hour', and maybe a couple others.  They have Violins here that we can use on P-day.  This past P-day I played the President's wife's Violin.  It is a really old one at least 100+ years old and has a beautiful tone.  I talked with her for a while about it.  It's been passed down to her from her grandpa.  Anyways she would like me to play in a Devotional or something.  I have to Try-out though.    Hope all is well, and I love you lots.
